    • at least 7.0 in the listening and reading sections

    • at least 7.0 in the writing and speaking sections, and

    • at least 7.0 (out of a possible 9) overall

Applicants may provide two IELTS test certificates to meet the above requirements, but must not have scored below 6.5 in any categories, in either of the test sittings.

The two test sittings must be taken within six months of each other to be considered.

  • If you pass our IELTS course screening i.e. have the basics of English, you may be offered a place in our IELTS Training academies.

  • You will spend 2-6 weeks full-time training with us, after which 87% of you will pass the required 7.0 overall with min 6.5 per category (reading, writing, listening, speaking).

  • If you go to the UK without passing IELTS, unless you pass in the UK, you will never be employed as a Band 5 Nurse and will remain in supernumerary position as a Healthcare Assistant (substantially less pay than a nurse).
